Diversity and Identity
The Office of International Education and Global Initiatives is dedicated to supporting students and their diverse backgrounds. You may have questions about diversity abroad --- perhaps you are wondering what it would be like to be a student of your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity on an education abroad program. Maybe you are wondering how you can study abroad as a student with a disability or you're a first generation college student unsure how to talk with your parents about education abroad.
Below are some web pages with information about these topics. Each page has different information. While you may not share one of the specific identities below, the content available on the pages may be beneficial to you. As such, we encourage you browse the pages, especially the First Gen page. If you would like to speak with us about any questions you may have pertaining to diversity and inclusivity abroad, please contact us at email@example.com and we will answer your inquiry to the best of our ability and/or refer you to others with the expertise that you need.
